"Clare Valley Cabernet from the Armagh and Polish Valley sub-regions is consistently powerful and inky and can take some years to soften. O'Leary Walker have blended the wine to add mid-palate flesh and tone down the strong tannin structure. This wine is all Cabernet intensity on the nose exhibiting violets, spice and blueberry. The palate is sweet fruit, rich and soft with fine, long tannins. This is an immeasurably satisfying Cab-Merlot that is drinking well now but will age gracefully over 7-10 years with careful cellaring. 90% Clare Valley Cabernet with 10% Adelaide Hills Merlot."
